  • Report: Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert mulling season-ending back surgery

    http://www.cincinnati.com/story/spor...ery/755597001/

I'd say that'll pretty much end his career as a Bengals for all intent and purposes.....oh what could have been.

Really liking what I'm seeing from Kroft/Uzomah this year...I'd be 100% on board with having those as the top 2 guys next season, both could be quality starters for a lot of teams around the league IMO.
potential targets for Bengals #1 overall pick in 2018:
QB's- Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen, Mason Rudolf
OT's- Orlando Brown, Connor Williams, Mike McGlinchey

I totally agree. Kroft is making me not miss Eifert at all.

Eifert was quite a weapon when healthy, but Kroft isn't far off.

I didn't like it when they decided to grab that option year(this year) just because the guy can't stay healthy. Tremendously talented, doesn't have ability to stay healthy. Bummer deal.

With two back surgeries and a knee surgery, Eifert out to move on to his life's work.

Clearly, Tyler Eifert is now damaged goods...any potential suitors will be taking a big risk.
