A lot of draft boards have Rueben Foster in the top 10. Rare for an ILB to be top 10 but he is quite the player

I know we will not drfat a QB and there is likely not one there worth it anyway. But the best thing for this team is if several other teams scramble for QB's and over draft them. So if 2 or 3 QB's go before us, that leaves better players for us.

On paper you are correct, not to many QB's coming out look good. But there is always someone who will gamble and take the next "franchise qb"... We can only hope. I don't even want to guess who we will take because it will be some unknown who won't play anyway......

Kizer out of Notre Dame is the real deal he will be a top 10 pick no problem.

And some are thinking Watson and Trubisky are possible top 10's as well (real deals or not). If 2 are taken before us that leaves us with a top 7 non-QB pick.

Philly win against Dallas puts their choice one spot above Cincy . . . that is Cleveland's for the Carson Wentz trade. Hopefully Cincy can snatch a stud defender Cleveland wants.

There really isn't a LBer out there I'm in love with... could the Bengals throw everyone off and go after Peppers from Michigan???
I'd prefer Barnett over Garrett. Admittedly I'm a U-Tenn fan but that does mean that I've seen a lot of Barnett. He broke Reggie White's sack record and he did it mainly against SEC schools. Most of Garrett's sacks came against non conference opponents that suck.

I'd draft two kickers with the late comp picks and sign a CFA kicker to compete.

A guy like Barnett could be an instant third down rush specialist. And if we ever could find a SLB that could rush then we would have some weapons to help confuse the offense in obvious passing downs.

Whoever drafts Hooker from OSU is going to get the next Ed Reed. I know that Mike Brown has old ideas about safeties in the 1st round, but I remember fellows like Reed and Palomalu dominating our division for years.

I do think Mikey has little influence in the war room other than evaluating trade options. If Hooker is BPA when we pick i am all for it. I trust the Tobins more than ML or Mikey.

Barnett just signed with Drew Rosenhous So much for the Bengals drafting him... Rosenhous and the Brown's do not get along at all.

I read somewhere that this is a weak draft for WR and OL.

                                Just an FYI.
