Peko should have been cut last year and Rey M should never have been re-signed.
Youve got to be kidding me. Rey M and Peko are the keys to our defense and should never ever be cut. That you can't see this is proof that you don't know what you are looking at, and you ought to leave the football decisions to the football guys.
Furthermore, please stick to cheering or clapping during the games. Might i suggest clapping, focusing on the HC during the game and doing your best to clap In Unison with him.

The anger management classes Adam Jones was taking since he was accused of spitting on a jailhouse nurse really seem to be working.

The Bengals cornerback blew up at a reporter Monday, who had the temerity to ask about the most interesting thing to happen to him this offseason.

According to Jay Morrison of the Dayton Daily News, Jones said before his interview that he wasn’t going “to talk about court,” which presumably meant his January arrest.

Early in the process, he spoke about his gratitude toward the organization for sticking with him, but later a reporter asked if he had anything “to prove to the fans for them to welcome you back since there were a lot of people upset with the way things went down in the offseason for you?”

That was enough to trigger him.

“Didn’t I just tell you don’t ask me that?” Jones said. “You out the [interview]. Turn around. Go back that way. See you. Next question. That’s his last interview for the year.”

Richard Sherman is presumably somewhere cashing a royalty check for Jones lifting his material, but the Bengals had to manage their volatile cornerback yet again.

Jones continued to berate the reporter (who walked away) for asking “stupid ass [expletive] questions,” after the interview ended. He then went to the restroom, but came back and yelled at the reporter to “shut the [expletive] up.”

That’s when teammates and even coach Marvin Lewis had to come to the locker room to calm him down.

The Bengals have been largely patient with Jones because he’s good at football. But as the weird dance with Sherman and the Seahawks proves, every relationship can eventually reach a point when one side decides it’s not worth it.

on the one hand, Jones put himself in this situation and should learn to side step it a little more gracefully.

On the other hand, when I watched the actual video it was much, much less drastic than CincyJungle made it seem. "Berate" is a total exaggeration. And I say that as somebody who doesn't care for Jones either and would rather we cut him... and even I don't think it's a big deal.

Well, my understanding is that Adam specifically requested that no questions be asked regarding the past incident. That some hack decided to go Watters World on him, would have pissed anyone off. Like Bengali says, maybe not put oneself in positions where one might be goaded into performing for the media circus, but until the NFL ever changes their media policies, avoiding these sharks is not really an option.

If he can be 'goaded' that easily there is no hope for this clown.

Yeah, I am sure you would be all sweetness and light if cornered by these attack dog wordsmiths.

I have had public interviews with tough questions on business. You have to keep your cool. Period. Accept the question and deflect it. Jones is a hothead and shown zero ability to be able to control it. I actually went to a full day course on media interviewing, very interesting how one can easily learn to turn questions around to another topic.

lol that's the dumbest shit I've ever seen, players don't get to dictate what questions they get asked by reporters....man the #### up, own it and answer the god damned questions....it's part of the responsibility that comes along with being a professional athlete.

and the questions were legit, the reporter had EVERY right to ask him about it.

then you apparently only saw part of the video.....you must have missed the part where Jones was screaming profanities at him the entire time the guy was walking out of the locker room.

Everybody wants to talk how to turn questions around to another topic, but nobody wants to talk about hamsters. I mean, have you seen these things? Way better pets than cats or dogs. You don't have to take them for a walk, they don't eat much, they are easy to clean up after. And if it dies, who cares? It's a hamster. Get another one.

If Jones can't handle a simple question, then how you going to expect him to react to an opponent like the Steelers talking sh it on the field??? It just goes to show that he was part of the reason for the playoff loss when he went off on Joey Porter. I've defended Jones so much, but at this point it is just time to cut bait and go. He's become a cancer to the locke room and will be a bad influence on the younger guys of the DBs.

and jones had the right to tell him to leave. both were petty and both could have handled it better, ( jones after the question, then the reporter making such a big deal afterwards)

Then they should just do a Steve Carlton, and refuse to speak to the press at all.

Then, get pissed on for doing that.

Like I said, if a player--not just Adam either--is going to be damned do/damned don't...then just go all Hal McRae or Brett Myers and at least make a good YouTube video out of it.
