    Offensive line tag: $13.706mm. Close enough. That means the same whether a guard, center, or tackle. Guess that's why Zeitler won't get it. Could see Whitworth though--absolutely no way they can let both of them go.

        The Transition tag is $12 mill ($11,902 if you want to be exact - jeez). There is the option to match if someone bids higher - which I would be surprised.

        I still would prefer a multi-year deal to avoid going through this again next year.

          Being sort of tag-challenged...if they use a transition tag, they cannot use another franchise tag, amirite?

            Not sure where you guys are getting your numbers. According to the ESPN article linked below franchise tag numbers for OL is 14.8M.

                Salary cap for 2017 set at $167M, an increase of $12M over last season. Cue an article from Hobs on how tight we will be to the new number after accounting for having to sign 'our own' , etc.

                  Actually, Hob's is saying we only have $15M to sign our own if I read this correctly. Figure that one out.
