The "Next" Bengal H.C., just became available!

Mikey's first choice to replace Magic Marvin, just hit the market. Yep, Jeff Fisher has been canned by the Rams.

Mikey's philosophy over why Fisher is his top man? "Well, he always beats us"

Fisher is A LOT like Marvin. He's an NFL corporate man, who sits on committees and he's quiet. He won't rock the boat and shake things up.

Absolutely, and there's plenty of clueless season-ticket holders to welcome him with open arms. As Stewards of the Cincinnati Bengals, they've been as lame as you can get and solely responsible for the ineptness of the franchise. The good ones all turned in their season tickets long ago. They continue to give Mike Brown their vote of confidence by purchasing more season tickets regardless of the product put before them.

Fisher? Lewis? What's the difference? They don't care as they'll continue to cut that check to Mike Brown, pat him on the back, pay him more money for concessions, jerseys, stadium costs, and ask him if there's anything else they can give him.

Should I blame the German people for the policies and results of Hitler? Adolph couldn't have accomplished his scourge without the complete cooperation of the people. Same goes for Mike Brown. He couldn't have accomplished his historical ineptness without the complete cooperation of the people in the Tri-County area.

    From Rotoworld:

In a cruel, ironic twist for the NFL's pre-eminent loser, the firing comes three days before he was set to pass Dan Reeves for the most coaching losses in league history. Fisher is so inept he can't even claim the record that's been his destiny for over a decade. The firing is perhaps the most justified of the modern era. Fisher has had five years to turn around a laughingstock franchise, but instead made it an even bigger joke. Fisher's team had truly made zero progress on his first year in 2012. A wanton waster of draft picks and capital, Fisher is clueless on Sundays, fundamentally misunderstanding offense and overseeing a cavalcade of idiotic penalties. Fisher doesn't make adjustments, aside from usually dialing up more personal fouls in the second half. Try as he may, he never came close to "cleaning up" his chronic, myriad, inexcusable mistakes. No coach, in any sport anywhere in the world, makes more excuses. Fisher has almost certainly coached his final NFL game.

This is how most of the world sees Fisher. It's how most of the world sees Marvin. Bengals' season ticket holders will continue to make excuses, find reasons why the Bengals are "OK", and justify why they endorse Mike Brown year after year. As Stewards of the Bengals, and that's all they are, they have been totally inept, and should be embarrassed from their lackadaisical, non-combative and passionless behaviors in dealing with Mike Brown. The typical answers of "What are you going to do about it?, What differences would it make?, and What effect could we have?" are the lethargical and spiritless reasons given for the true reason...laziness. It takes effort to make change. It's easier to just bend over and take it than to fight back and demand change.

I've said this a thousand times - as long as Mikey is the de facto GM, it doesn't really matter who the HC is.

The inbreds, and Paul Alexander are the only constants over this 26 year drought.

Besides, Mediocre Marv must show up to work 16 more times next year, to get the balance of his money.

Goin' off the rails there, Blazer. Comparing a geo-political phenomenon that culminated in the worst loss of life in the history of humankind...to that of viewing an illusionary game played by overpaid entertainers?

I see the Moda Center (Rose Garden to me) keeps selling out too. Do Terry Stotts and Nate McMillan win just enough to keep Mr. Allen happy? Isn't there a revolt amongst the fans?

    Yes, they did.

I used to like Fisher when he was with the Titans and it seems like he's had a lot of QB turnover, not to mention moving from St. Louis to LA, but I just don't know now.

Just say no. Not that it matters. Marvin isn't going anywhere anyway. We're stuck in NFL purgatory.
