Not bad. Primetime games are at home. No late year cold weather games. 4 of the last 6 at home. Would rather have the bye week be a bit later, but at least we'll have an extra week to prepare for Pittsburgh. Why do we always play Baltimore the last week of the season?

LOL! Roger Goodell's favorite team has a bye after 8 games and ends the season with five of the last seven games at home with yet ANOTHER finale against Cleveland. Must be nice to get a cakewalk at the end of every season to strengthen your playoff positioning.

Of the first half of the teams
The top four are the AFC West
The next eight are all AFC East and NFC East mixed together
The next four are all NFC South

I've never seen it fall like that before.

Funny how that always seems to happen, doesn't it?

Let's see here, Rooney passes away and Ben could retire after this season, why bother playing games and just hand the trophy to them now....

Bigger question is, why do we always seem to play Pittsburgh the week after a bye? Doesn't the NFL get we suck after byes??

    Yes, they do. Case closed.

As for the AFC West being in the top 4, that makes sense because they play each other twice a year. Same with us and Pittspuke being at the bottom. We have Cleveland in our division so of course our strength of schedule is weakened by playing a 1-15 team twice.

My only gripe is the Cleveland game in Cleveland in 10/1 because of course, I have to be at a wedding in Cincy on 9/30. The scheduling gods couldn't have been kinder and put the Cleveland game in Cincy on that day???

There are no scheduling gods. It is a roomful of NFL automatons, whose only function is to make sure the Stealers and Patriots have the prime spots to make the league money. Everyone else is just the Washington Generals.

4-1 start before the bye is doable. What sucks is a 3 game road stretch but at least we get 3 at home in a row. No trip to Cincy for me this year. Jax is a 4 hour drive and Nashville is 8 hours. Back to back games to boot.

Yeah them also...and might as well toss in Denver while we're at it.

Notice only two prime time games, writing is on the wall, well, we know it has been for decades, well, some of us have known this. oh, i forgot, everyone has but, eh, it is just a game.
"We started with a very low standard, so we have nowhere to go but up," offensive coordinator Jay Gruden said. So you set your standards as low? WOW!

I'm not sure what you are implying. The Bengals' poor record last year is reason to justify not having more primetime games. The Browns and Jaguars don't have any primetime games. The Chiefs have 6.

By the way, the Ravens play in London in week 3, but don't have a bye until week 10.
