A WR that someone can snatch up off our practice squad? Our LB core in coverage is awesome, remember those TEs, and our O line like everyone is saying is in shambles, but let's draft another WR, brilliant. Smh

Bengal receivers had a hard time getting open last year. We shouldn't have that problem with Green, Ross and Malone

The line looked bad because receivers weren't getting opened.

At this rate there won't be OL left.

  7. #47
I still want a true safety

  8. #48
Oh wait! What am I so worried about? I absolutely forgot about Mikey's favorite time of the football year, an owner's equivalent to a "yard sale", training camp cuts! Mikey will just go shopping for a few bargain basement offensive lineman who've been cut, and he'll solve all of our line needs.

That Mikey loves him some bargains!

Now a DT. D need, to me, is LB and S

Glasgow can play, for sure.....nice insurance in case Billings doesn't pan out for whatever reason.

Maybe we can get Toth from KY?

  18. #58
    Wait, wait, wait!

I know what they're doing. They're going to convert all these defensive players to O linemen. What genius!

here's the thing about the o'line....I'm not so sure there's a o-lineman drafted after round 2 that's any better than what we already have as backups on this roster right now.

sure I wanted Harlow but truth be told, he's really just another Westerman.

I'm guessing they're looking at the guys available on their board and looking at the guys on their roster and thinking the same thing.

but we are really without backup at LT ... who have right now ... Winston?

davemport was available right there under their nose

Ever stop to consider, the late round OL picks from a bad OL draft, are already on the roster?

If I mention them, all I will hear is "they suck". So how does an equal or worse 4-7 rounder from a bad OL class suddenly seem so much better?

(Sorry Spic, you already said this in so many words)

yep.....or they could also move Andre back to RT and Fisher to LT if they really had to as well.

I wouldn't put our O-line as bad, I would put them in the "unproven" category. Ced and Fisher have all off-season to study and learn, full on knowing that Whit won't be there to coddle them. Time to man up. Andre takes OT agility and moves inside, Zeitler's play always left me underwhelmed. Boling comes back from injury but if he doesn't come back all of the way, TJ Johnson looked pretty awesome in the last game against the Ravens playing LG.

Center, however, is still a problem.

    Safety needs to be fixed
    Need to draft McCarron's replacement
    Kicker?

And this Michigan fellow seems to be a Peko-type, another 4th rounder all those years ago.

So does this push Sims or Hardison off of the roster?

is he really gonna be any better than Winston or Fisher this year though?

if Ogb ends up not being able to cut it, they'll likely be drafting a first round OT next year anyhow.

he really is....not a bad pick at all IMO.

I absolutely love the upside of Billings but there are certainly no guarantees there.

probably Sims and maybe Gillberry too.....I think they really like the thought of Hardison in that Gilberry role at some point.

I think you're right but I think we still need an OT as insurance.

  33. #73
Yeah, I already expected Gilberry to be gone
    Atkins
    Billings
    Sims
    Hardison
    Glasgow

They don't normally keep 5 DTs, one will have to go.

Except Hardison is/has been expected to be that slide-out-to-end type, ala dearly departed Margus. I can see everyone staying on the roster.
