    Lol, who said he was?

You think Russel Wilson is better under pressure? He's not. Just because he's made a few plays doesn't mean he does it consistently......no QB in the league does.

Pressure is everything in this league simply because QB's can't handle it consistently.
potential targets for Bengals #1 overall pick in 2018:
QB's- Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen, Mason Rudolf
OT's- Orlando Brown, Connor Williams, Mike McGlinchey

Bengals literally getting the ball rammed down their throat right now. 11 play drive, 11 runs.

When I said Dalton wouldn't be successful because of the O-line, I was told by someone on here that Russell Wilson wins games with a shitty O-line so Dalton could too.

Defense just isn't the same without Burfict out there.

Good to see that we're getting a rinsing from the refs too. Nice.

Agreed. His regular season ban from a f***ing pre-season game was nothing short of an utter sham.

We screwed ourselves, now the refs are screwing us.
    Cheers for beers!

I honestly cannot stand Dre Kirkpatrick. What's with celebrating as though you have made INTs in five consecutive plays when you have actually simply made a tackle on a run play five yards downfield? Idiot.

  9. #49
So who else sees MArvin come out now and run the ball and take their time?

When they should go into hurry up offense mode the rest of the game.

it wasn't me that said that but either way it can't all be on the QB.

He's done that his entire career. Shawn Williams does the same thing. Irritates the #### out of me.

Amazing really. He is the definition of an impact player and plays with the kind of fire and aggression that the league should embrace as it embodies what the game is supposed to be about. They loved Ray Lewis so I guess Vontaze should organise a murder or something and then he'll be all over Madden 2019.

So the season is over if they lose? Won't half the league be 0-1 as well??

This should make you guys happy to see... and I doubt he gets any game suspensions.

Of course he won't. He'll be celebrated as one of Goodell's Chosen.

Boy do we ever need a TO (and I don't mean Terrell Owens).

Unless we get some o line play and smart coaching next week, it's gonna be a looong year.
    Cheers for beers!

Bengals down 3 scores and are taking their time like they are up three scores.

  23. #63
Down 3 scores and they punt inside the 50. Fire Marvin tomorrow.

Time for a change if we have any hope of winning today.

Bringing AJ on might just spark a score.

Marvin has given up, plain and simple...that is the ONLY reason that they wouldn't punt in that situation.

Who do we blame THIS loss on, the commissioner or the referee's ?

Not to worry, though, our part time LB will play in week-4.

Lima, do you honestly think the ban on Burfict was actually warranted? You post as though he is still errant and undisciplined but this is a player who has augmented his game to adapt to the league's demands. I'd suggest he is being targeted unfairly, quite honestly.

  29. #69
Well at least Gio cares to try.

  30. #70
Ogbuehi gets pushed back into Dalton EVERY play. Then on 4th down he throws it out of the back of the endzone... giving NO ONE a chance to catch it. WHY? It's not like an interception hurts you at that point?

I have stated that he is a marked man. But his play has drawn penalties since college. That is why EVERY team passed on him 7 times in the draft, leaving him undrafted.

He is a great talent, but only HE can change his style to allow him to stay eligible. His history causes his scrutiny, right or wrong.

Poorly prepared team once again, useless OC play calling and the brutal OL is the fault of management
Marvin Lewis - the Clapping Clown.

College is a LONG time ago. He has clearly adapted his game in the last year or so, so the league should rescind their endless scrutiny of his play. That's the definition of bullying is it not?

    Four INTs and a fumble...

What a bad day. Can only hope we turn it around for Houston but we look lost out there with the o line failing.
    Cheers for beers!

"Clearly adapted his play?" That is an opinion that I don't completely accept. He'll make a questionable hit at least once every game.

I LOVE the way he plays. He would make the Pro Bowl every year.....if it was 19 years ago.

But the NFL is faced with countless law suits from shell-shocked retirees, and if they want to stay in business, they have to drastically change the way they call a game. Sucks.

  39. #79
If the Bengals want to salvage their season, they put Andre Smith at right tackle and place Fisher at left tackle. Ogbuehi just doesn't have it.

    Should have paid Whitworth

That's a salient point. I can't argue with that, sadly.
